Kate is an experienced communications professional with over 20 years of experience in various business sectors and disciplines, both in corporate and agency settings.
She joined Edelman to lead the Corporate Practice in Africa. Before this, she was responsible for external communications at Rand Merchant Bank (RMB), a corporate and investment bank, where she played a key role in driving executive thought leadership and managing the company's reputation.
Prior to her role at RMB, Kate served as the Head of Communications for Visa Inc, a global payments company, focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa. Her responsibilities included enhancing executive visibility, improving employee experience, and handling financial services communications.
Kate gained her expertise while working at FTI Consulting and Magna Carta Public Relations, where she focused on the corporate and financial service sectors.
